SLO-BOY
When I turned three years old, my parents bought me a record player. Soon after, I took over their collection of albums, finding sounds that made my soul and spirit recognize who I was and what I could be. I have experienced a lifetime of sonic assimilation combined with taking advantage of the abundance of performance art in my community. These extraordinary opportunities have made me feel comfortable in my own skin. This lifetime is an awakening to help myself and even more importantly help others to help themselves. I know that music is one of the most powerful and enlightening influences on society. My mission is to wake society from their hibernation – to help them to help themselves.
